I think that it would be nice to have a "tree view" for surfaces, somewhat like the one in the xref dialog that would show what surfaces are pasted into a surface. As it is, I have to scroll through the edit list to see if there are any other surfaces pasted. In doing landfill grading, we often have hybrid surfaces made up of smaller pieces. I would be great to have one place where you could see what makes up a surface: pasted surfaces, whether those are in the drawing or shortcut in, and if shortcut in, what drawing contains the shortcut surface. I know you can find all this out in various places in C3D, but it would be handy to have all this information in once place, especially when you have to work on a drawing that someone else did extensive grading in, often it takes a significant amount of time to serach out all the components that make up some surfaces.
