A suggestion to improve the flexibility of how assemblies are used within Corridor Properties:
If the assemblies could list each subassembly used and give the option to untick individual subassemblies, this would greatly improve the efficiency of assembly use.
For example, we currently have several assemblies where the only difference between a pair of them is one has verge and earthworks subassemblies and the other doesn't (for using across junction mouths, for example). If we could use the same subassembly for both situations and just untick the verge and earthworks within the Corridor Properties, this would reduce the number of different assemblies we need to create and make the design process more efficient.
Similarly, currently if you want to change a Region to a different assembly then all the targetting would need to be reset. If we could "change" the assembly by just unticking parts of the assembly, this would prevent this.
Whether it could be made to work so you could untick subassemblies in the middle of an assembly construction, or whether you could only untick subassemblies working from the bottom (outside edge) up, I don't know.
I've mocked up an example of how this might look / work:
Note that Bentley's products already do something similar to this!!
