printing from Autodesk Architecture

So, seems like I have OE C3D 2016 for AutoCAD Architecture installed.  However, when I print projects from AutoCAD Architecture Project Navigator, or Sheet Set Manager, I have some of the text masked from Civil 3D not show up properly.  This has been a problem for several years now.  If I print projects from civil 3D, no problem with AutoCAD Architecture Drawings.  Can anyone help identify or help with this?

Thanks!

I might have to retract (temporarily).  Seems I'm getting the same problem printing from Civil 3D 2016.  I have a line label showing bearings and distances with a background mask.  The BM is printing black, not transparent.  But the error is only for one of several labels.

Maybe I should inquire, where do the settings pull from when using the >sheet set >publish >publish to PDF settings from.  When I print using the print function/button and my adobe acrobat.pc3 setting, I have no masking issues.  When I print using the Publish option of the sheet set manager, the problem shows up.  So, what I'm curious about is where does the Publish to DWF and Publish to PDF pick up the settings from?
