Xref attachment

I am unable to see the attached Xref ground floor plan in upper floor plan of the same project even after adjusting levels properly. And i have checked that the attachment is attached in external references window and tried reloading as well. I need the solution for the same.

Are the xref layers on and thawed?
Is the layer the xref is inserted on, on and thawed?
Is the xref in the same spatial location as the base drawing?

Post both drawings (or slimmed down versions of them) for best results here.

Yes it is on the same position as the base drawing. And also the layers are on.

I found out the solution: I never actually saved the Base drawing construct and was directly trying to insert Xref in First floor plan from ground floor (Base drawing)
