First note: the Wall in your sample file is set to Left justification. The way your Wall is defined, the furring is on the left side. Changing the justification to Baseline or Right will put the justification line on the right outside face, on the face of the CMU.
Second note: Where do you want the Baseline of your Wall? Do you want it on the outside face of the CMU, or do you want it on the inside face, between the CMU and the furring? If you want it on the outside face, it is there. If you want it on the inside face, the offsets can be adjusted to accommodate that.
Third note: I do not know how you intent to use this Wall Style. Perhaps it is for interior partitions, in which case the exterior/interior arrangement of the Wall Components does not matter. Most (if not all) of the out-of-the-box Wall Styles are set up with the baseline at the exterior side of the main structural component, with exterior components to the left of that and interior components to the right. Your Wall Style is currently set up the opposite of that. There is nothing wrong with that, and if you plan to use only Wall Styles you create and set them all up that way, they will be consistent. But if you plan to use a mix of your own Wall Styles and out-of-the-box Wall Styles (or customized variations on those styles), you may find placing Walls more consistent if you define your Wall Styles the same way the out-of-the-box Wall Styles are defined.
Fourth Note: You have classified both the CMU and the Furring as Structural. You may want to make the Furring Non-structural.
In the attached drawing file, a copy of the one you posted, I took the liberty of adding a few things to your original Wall instance.
- A copy of your Wall instance, with the justification changed to Baseline.
- An instance of a new Wall Style, CMU-8 Furr-Variable 01, where the Baseline is at the outer face of the CMU, and all components are to the right of the Baseline.
- An instance of a new Wall Style, CMU-8 Furr-Variable 02, where the Baseline is at the inner face of the CMU. The CMU is to the left (exterior side) of the Baseline, and the Furring is to the right.
The baseline of all four Walls align, and all four walls are drawn from left to right. The justification line of your originally placed Wall instance remains on the outside face of the furring (Right justified); the other three Walls are Baseline justified.
