Speed IFC export

Hi, we want to make some of our models available as IFC to pass it on to Revit and other software. A export of a relative simple model takes me about half an hour.  One single item takes 9(!) seconds. That is a lot! 259*9/60 is about half an hour.

What impovements in setting or modelling can be to give me a workable solution for bigger models? It is to slow to really work.

Your content amount./complexity dictates the speed of the export, unless you are running AutoCADARCH on a very low end PC that is just slow in general use of the program.

How did you get that output of the time it took to run?  I'd like to be able to capture that.

ALL of Autodesk software is the slowest
