Hi @bjpancoe,
Thank you for posting your query on the AutoCAD Architecture forum.
It would first be great to see a photo of what you are having/seeing on your user interface to get a better understanding. Furthermore if you could answer the following questions:
- What version of AutoCAD Architecture are you running?
- What profile are you running?
- On the bottom right hand side, click open the gear icon, what workspace are you currently on?
If what you mean by getting the commands from layers onto your ribbon is the following, then I would suggest two approaches to get back the layer panel in your Home Ribbon.

Option 1: Reset ACA back to default
If you do not have any customizations done in ACA, this option would be the easiest to reset the product and the layer panel should be in your home ribbon as per normal.
In the windows start menu > find the "AutoCAD Architecture 2026 folder" > At the bottom, find the shortcut "Reset Settings to Default" > Follow through the instructions

Options 2: Customizing the ribbon yourself using CUI
- Launch the command "CUI"
- Selecting the workspace you wish to modify (Architecture Default in the photo below)

- Expand the "Ribbon" folder

- Find and expand the "Home - ACA" tab , and look out for the "Layers - ACA" panel. If the panel is not present continue with the following steps.

- Expand the "Panels" folder

- Find and right click on the "Layers - ACA" panel, and copy and paste it into the "Home - ACA" tab in step 4

-
Apply changes and you should be good to go.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Yanhan
