Palette question

Perhaps someone from Autodesk or a Palettes "expert" will see this. It is my understanding that there is a size limit to how much content a palette can have. Is there a rule of thumb as to what that limit is and does the type of content mater ie: dynamic blocks, standard blocks etc? We have palettes that may have 100+ tools/blocks on them and in some cases I can not install them from the Content Browser assuming this is due to the size. And what is the preferred method of loading them? I have heard of 2 ways. One to install them from the Content Browser and second to add the path to the palette path in Options.
Thank you in advance for your assistance

While you can do pretty much whatever you want, as a general rule "100s" is just visual clutter for any user trying to find one tool or block. Think of the user or usage, not how much less time it would take you to throw everything together in one spot.
