Can´t edit/modify the lineweight of a table

Hello, as the title says, I can´t modify the lineweight of a table style. I type table style command, choose the table style I want to modify and selecting the border tab, but when I choose the desired lineweight , it goes back to the default option (ByBlock in my case) It looks like a very straightforward edit but it is not working. What am I doing wrong?

1. you pick the style
2. you change the properties
3. you apply #2 were you want it with these buttons
   
4. Repeat for the other two cell styles in your one table style.
