Window is not removing wall lines

I am inserting a window into a wall which has Gib, Stud, Battens and siding.

In plan view the gib and stud lines disappear, but the battens and siding lines remain

In the image the cyan lines should disappear, how do i set it to do this?

It works with a brick cavity wall

I'm using the COVID-19 shutdown to do a little CPD.

Cheers

I'm having the same issue on my laptop, after adding a window there's still a wall line which is thicker than my window lines and I can't seem to be able to remove it. As indicated by the image I've uploaded the green line is a wall line that I can't get rid of. How do I remove those wall lines from my windows?

Without an example file is is hard to be certain, but it appears that you projected the sill of the "vertical" window beyond the face of the Wall, exposing the Below Cut Plane component line.  That line is there, at the other Wall face of the "vertical" Window as well as at both Wall faces of the "horizontal" Window, it is just overwritten by the sill line.

If you do not want to see lines at the face of Walls below openings that do not go to Wall Bottom, either turn off the display of the Below Cut Plane Component (which may have unwanted side effects, if your Walls have below-cut-plane projections) or, on the Other tab, make sure that the Hide Lines Below Openings Above Cut Plane toggle is checked.
