User interface confusion

hello,

I am using default user interface, but I lost it, and I don't know how to go back to default.

Should be very simple, but it is very hard, can't find it. My current workspace has been altered while I don't wont it .

I have lost my menu's by misclicking something but don't know how to get them back.

I am basically working with commands only at the moment ad really could use some help to get a decent UI.

@Renee_Ve

Any chance you activated "Clean Screen?"

CTRL+0 will toggle between normal and clean screens.  Worth a try before resetting the entire interface.

You say you lost your "menus"?

1. menubar 1  if you are using menus rather than ribbon.

2. cleanscreenoff ctrl+0 per @David_W_Koch

3. ribbon in case you closed your ribbon.

Hey thanks I had closed my ribbon.

However how do I change the look of the ribbon back to default? It looks like this at the moment .

You have minimized the ribbon to tiles.

There is a button with an upward-pointing triangle to the right of the ribbon tabs.  Left-click on that to cycle through the options you have picked.  If you are on Cycle through All, you will need to click three times to get back to the full ribbon.  If you are just toggling between full and one of the reduced states, a single click will do.

You can select the downward pointing triangle to the right of the cycle button to get a context menu where you can choose to toggle between full and one reduced state or to cycle through all of the states.
