Tool Bar in AutoCAD Architecture has changed and I want it back to the original

My toolbar in my AutoCAD has been changed and I don't know how to get it back to the way it is. It has options of walls and stairs and things and I don't want those. I will attach an image of what it looks like and what I am wanting it to look like- anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? I have already tried downloading the new 2018 version but the setting just transferred over.

In the top screenshot you are running "as autocad"
In the bottom screenshot you are running ARCHITECTURE.

You basically started the wrong profile, or you got switched from plain AUtoCAD to AutoCAD Architecture with the upgrade.

OPTIONS command, Profiles Tab, should have an "as autocad" profile you can use if it was installed. Talk to whomever did your installation about it all if that was not you.

I have a simular issue.

My tool bars at the top all have changed.

Now all you see is Draw, Modify, Annotations, Layers, Block, and so on.

I want it back to what is was.

Draw would have all the sub commands displayed already like  Line, Polyline, Circle

but now you have to click on Draw to see those commands. I DON'T LIKE IT.

I want it back to before.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

The fix is this button right here, just tap it until the RIBBON looks like you want it then stop tapping it.

That's been around for for as long as the Ribbon has been around (23-ish years now) and easy for all of us to accidentally tap on ocassion.

Also icon is small enough to go totally  unnoticed.  It was I while before I discovered what it was for.

You can ask AutoCAD to make it as huge as you want if monitor settings cannot help you out, ask for that change here for future versions of your AutoCAD https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-provide-fee...

I am now back to AutoCAD after 2 1/2 years of REVIT.

I am glad you're still around sharing your expertise.

Welcome back: how was your REVIT tour? Very few willingly come back.

It was 2 1/2 years of having to do 3D modeling for something that could be quickly drawn. For example. To draw an escuteon plate in AutoCAD, I merely offset the curved end of the rail one inch, then extend that offset arc back to the rail. DONE. Not in REVIT where you have to have a real escuteon plate model. REVIT is definitely the way to go on huge projects, but I'm not working on large projects. I'm 74 now and will be using AutoCAD till I die.
