Stairs number layer

I wonder if this is a bug in Autocad.

When a drawing is exported to an old version or when a stair is exploded, the stair numbers have a different layer than all other stair lines - looks like it takes the default active layer at the time of explode or export. This is also observed with 2D Wireframe display, the stairs number are thicker than as is defined for the stairs style.

Not that I in any way advocate exploding stairs but, the display properties of the stair style default to having the stair numbering on layer 0.  ACA builds the display block for the stairs by putting layer 0 items on the stair's layer.  If you want a specific layer for the numbers, then change it in the stair style.  You would probably also want to change the other properties to bylayer in the style.

Not seeing that here, in a quick test with the out-of-the-box US Imperial Standard Stair Style, in AutoCAD Architecture 2020, when exploding the Stair in the file or exporting to the 2013 file format.

What version are you using (is it fully updated?) and to what version are you exporting?

Can you share an example file in which the issue occurs for you (original source file with stair, not the exported file)?

I have found a workaround solution for that. I set the "0" layer as the current layer then issue with the wrong stair numbers layer "is solved".
