Some commands missing from help

[ACA 2014]

I've tried to find help on a number of commands and it says "no entries found". For example: WALL, STAIR, DOOR, WINDOW and some of their sub-commands like e.g. WINDOWCORNERADD.

Why are they missing? Also, where can I find them and possibly some help on them?

Thanks.

Hi

Please verify if you have launched AutoCAD Vanilla profile and searching ACA commands in help.

You may either launch Architecture 2014 and press F1 or alternatively, use following links;

http://help.autodesk.com/view/ARCHDESK/2015/ENU/

Neither switching to a vanilla profile nor accessing either help links provided came up with any result. The above commands are not to be found, much less explained, anywhere.
If any of you could find them, I would ask you to let me know where.

Thanks.

@Anonymous,

He is not suggesting that you move "TO" a vanilla profile.  You must launch one of the AutoCAD Architecture profiles.  If the wall command works, then hit F1. If the wall command does nothing, you're not using the right program.

If you don't have AutoCAD Architecture, try the cloud help here:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-architecture/getting-started/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/AutoCAD-Architecture/files/GUID-6064C543-DF7E-4533-8C14-6AC5EFE99FA3-htm.html  Use the search box on that page to find a specific topic.

which I found by entering "AutoCAD Architecture Wall Help" in a search engine duck-duck-go.

The Wall command works but pressing F1 takes me to a generic "To Draw Walls" page; other commands, upon pressing F1, have detailed description of every parameter and prompt, like MTEXT.

@Anonymous,

At some point, you've got to show the initiative.  This is what I see with @Sridhar-Autodesk's link.  Type wall and get probably 1000 pages of help.

@Anonymous, I *have* searched the Help as you recommend, even before posting in this forum.The number of entries was substantial but I have read most of them, without success.

Please note that I'm not searching for information on Walls, but on a specific command, WALL (different from WALLADD), with these options:

WALL [Add COnvert Properties Styles Cleanup groups Dimension Interference Reverse]

I could not find any help on these options, at least not any centralized help, like most other commands have. (e.g. the Offset command has detailed help on all its options).

As an aside, some particular commands (e.g. WALL) I could not find in the CUI command list, but they do pop up if written in the command window. Why is that?

Time for you to start showing us screenshots: make sure you capture your full AutoCAD Architecture program window along with the HELP pop-up, and post these in full resolution so we can see the details.

The Wall and Stair commands with their unhelpful Help, and for contrast, the Help for Pline, which describes every option in detail.

@Anonymous,

Your first shot tells me nothing.  Why show the wall command command line?  Your second shot looks fine.  Do you click the links below?  Help is not a textbook so don't expect it to flow like a textbook.  People no longer read manuals so don't expect them to look like manuals.

The walllistpng is also not helpful.

I am done on this thread.  However, I will give you a link to the latest online user manuals available.  I know there was also one for the 2012 version but it is not available.
