What are we supposed to be seeing?  What is the glitch?  Computer specs?  Looks like Windows 10 OS.  Have you recently had the creator's update or defenders update?  What is your memory, graphics card, etc?  Windows 10 updates broke my 2015 and 2016 software.  I see two pictures: one with a black screen background beginning a selection and another with a light grey background with a grid and a selected rectangle.  Could you capture the issue with screencast and explain?

It would be running smoothly, then the screen would black out then come back glitching for a period of time then stop. As seen in the pictures.2017-08-03 (9).png2017-08-03 (18).png2017-08-03 (14).png

do you have the latest updates installed for Autocad Architecture 2016?

have you tried turning off hardware acceleration?

That's your video card choking: what is your video card, and what version drivers are you using? I wonder if this is also the problem for you in Win10
