Select Similar missing from Right-Click Menu and CUI

For whatever reason the "select similar" command has disappeared from both my right click menu and my cui list when I'm in my personal profile on Architecture... Can't seem to get it back in my personal profile although can access it if I go back to the Autodesk Standard profile.
Any help is appreciated.

If you're comfortable using RegEdit, this may be easy to diagnose and fix.
Navigate to (note that the exact numbers following this may vary)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.0\ACAD-8004:409\Profiles\{PersonalProfileName}
and look for the Value "IsPureAcadProfile". If this exists and is set to 1,
change it to zero. You didn't mention it, but this would also cause many
other changes in the appearance and behavior of AutoCAD Architecture. For
example, WALL would be an unknown command.

I face the same problem even after changes made as per your instruction. and i face one more problem that, when i select a object and delete it, it is not deleting, it is asking for the object again. so please istruct me for this problem, i am using autocad 2013 and in windows Xp.

For your delete issue:  set PICKFIRST to 1.

The hot reg link doesn't work anymore. I can't get SELECTSIMILAR to show up when I right click. PICKFIRST is set to 1 and SHORTCUTMENU is set to 11 and it's still not showing up.

neither of those variables has much to do with CUI command tools.

What year version of ACA are you running please? And which ACA profile are you running? And which workspace?

I believe you can add it manually using CUI command, but its not missing here so I've not tried it
