Section / Elevation Drawings Don't Appear

When I draw an Elevation or Section line and click in the location I would like it to appear, I get a small window that comes and goes so fast that I can't possibly read it, then nothing.  No Elevation or Section Drawings anywhere on the Model Sheet.  I don't know if it's me, my equipment or ACA that is causing this issue.  Would someone please enlighten me?

Are you placing a callout (it does not sound like it from your description) or just running the BUILDINGELEVATIONLINEADD command?

When placing an elevation callout in ACA 2024, I get this dialog

which allows me to choose if I want to just place the callout, or if I want to generate the elevation in a new View drawing, in an existing View drawing, or in the current drawing.  When choosing current drawing, it asks me to define the elevation area (first point of rectangle defines one end of the elevation line; second point defines the other end & depth), then asks for a point where the elevation will be generated.

If I use the BUILDINGELEVATIONLINEADD command, I am asked for start and endpoints of the elevation line (ACA appears to choose a depth based on what is in the drawing in the direction the elevation looks), then asks for an insertion point for the generated elevation (in this drawing).  There is a Dialog option, which allows you to specify the settings for the elevation to be generated.

Not sure why you are not getting the expected workflow.
