Screen flicker bug - needs fix

The screen flickers black between commands intermittently. Please see attached photos for the visual explaination.

this bug happens running windows 10 pro

the 2 computers I've seen the problem with are:

surfacebook pro 2016 with nVidia graphics card i5 processor

happens with my MacBook Pro 2015 iris graphics card - running windows 10 boot camp.

I tried both computers with turning off the graphics acceleration on & off and it did not help the problem.

I've read a lot of people experiencing this problem thru the blogs but they could not identify the problem.

(They had various PC computers and had the problem with autocad architecture 2014, 2015, 2016)

Please help.......

is the screen flickering only occurring when within autocad architecture?  if not, does it flicker when you move swivel the laptop monitor...could be a cable connection

is this occurring on only that 1 file or any file?

This happens every time.

This bug happens without a monitor... This bug is not related to an exterior monitor.

2014 and 2015 versions are not supported in WIn10: plain English, that means whatevery problems you come across no one out there is ever going to fix them officially.

2016s require the SP1 patch to be installed: but that alone may not fix the flickering. By chance what res are you running these at? Looking a the teeny tiny icons it appears to be 4k or higher.

The SP1 is installed for Autocad architecture 2017.
Neither computers have or use the 4K resolution. The surface book with dedicated nvidia graphics card has the ability to show the resolution of 3,000 x 2,000 but it's kinda of awkward. The 1980 x 1080 resolution works best.

If no one else has an issue with the intermittent screen flickering (mostly in paper space ) then maybe we need more powerful machines. However we exceed the minimum requirements me run Autocad architecture 2017.

I've been using Autocad for 17 years so I have an understanding of what time talking about.

I have the same flicker problem. It only occurs in paper space. Model space runs smoothly. Go into paper space and the screen flickers. Running acad 2017.

Had the same problem.Did some research and found that removing some lesser used buttons on the taskbar solved this problem.No more flickering on the screen!!

I agree that removing some of the buttons reduces the problem. Although this flickering was still an issue. I upgraded to architecture 2018 and have had zero issues ever since.
