Schedule Tabel export problem

When I would export Schedule Tabel to Excel, then only the old file format for Excel .exl is available. if you select .exl format and run export, you get the error message "Failed to Export to Excel File. Excel application may not be loaded".
Can this problem be solved on any set.
It is the same problem in both version 2023 and 2024.

I was able to successfully export an XLS file from a Schedule Table in AutoCAD Architecture 2023, and it opened up just fine in Excel (Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2308 Build 16.0.16731.20310) 64-bit).

Do you have Excel installed?  (Sorry, but I have to ask that.)

Are XLS files associated with Excel on your computer?

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have microsoft office 365 the latest version, but still I can't export. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Best regards,

The only semi-useful thing I found on the internet was this older thread.  Is your Microsoft Office 64-bit?  I doubt you are still running Windows 7.

Hi David,

I have read the post before I wrote it, but unfortunately does not help. No, I run Windows 10 with latest update 22H2 and Maicrosoft 365 64bit.
I have found a solution for that. I reinstalled the office package then the problem solved.
Many thanks to you anyway.

Best regards.

@Zanyar.K

I am glad you found a solution.  I had a somewhat similar experience some time back after a Microsoft update was rolled back. Dynamo was unable to import or export data from/to Excel.  I ended up having to use CSV files.  Repairing Microsoft Office did not fix the issue, but a full uninstall and reinstall did.

Blaming Excel is not the first thing I think of when interactions with other programs fail.
