Right Click menu options in AutoCAD Architecture

Anonymous
Not applicable

I just switched from AutoCAD 2018 to AutoCAD Architecture 2018 and am having trouble with the right click shortcut menu after selecting an item.  It doesn't have the options I typically use suck as move/rotate/draw order/etc.  Is there a ways I can change the menu options to match the other standard?

You have to select an object(s) first before you get any right-click menu option like move/copy etc.

Are you selecting something first?
Or do you just need to ensure your PICKFIRST and PICKADD variables are set to 1 and 2 respectively?

I do have an object selected first and those two settings are correct.

What you select determines which right-click menu you get: that's always how AutoCAD has worked, ARCH is no different.

What is selected? LIST command to find out. Then you need to hunt down that specific right-click menu in CUI command's SHORTCUT MENUS section and add whatever commands you want.

Or just get in the habit of typing M for Move, CO for Copy and the delete-key for Erase (or use E): you can use the space bar for <enter>

In the example I sent, a line was selected.  I've never changed the right click menus.  Wanted to know if there were default setups other than the one I have that would have the standard options from regular AutoCAD.  I'm not switching to using keyboard shortcuts.

My bad, I was running ACA "as AutoCAD", so I got something different than you.

In the ACA US Imperial Profile, I get what you see: you will need to look into my second or third options from my last post for a solution if you are not willing to do this

I think using Basic Modify Tools will do it.  It's one level deeper than I'm used to but that's acceptable.  Thank you!

I was trying to find this solution as well, and while it's annoying to have to go one step deeper to find "draw order" at least it's there. However, I typically use "group" in this way also, and I'm not finding it under any of the options that come up. Is this gone from the right-click menu?

There is nothing built-in, you'll have to customize the right-click menu and add it.

Thank you!! I've seen this referenced before, but never with the direction of where to add them in the CUI, so thank you SO MUCH for the image!
