Dynamic block with classification and property set definition

I have created a dynamic block of a grab bar using the stretch and look up actions. I need to attach a classification and property set definition to it so it will schedule. I do not see a way to do this. there isn't a dynamic block option in the applies to table. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

Dynamic Blocks are still considered Block References, so you can create an object-based Property Set that applies to Block References and attach that to your Dynamic Block instances.

You will not be able to create a Classification Definition for one, however.  Those only work with AEC objects.

Not exactly.

In order to even use a Classification on the Applies to tab of a Schedule Table Definition that applies to Block References (or other non-AEC objects), the Classification Definition has to apply to all objects.  (I used the Select All button to select all objects; not sure how it works if you manually select each toggle.)  That will allow Block References to appear in a Schedule Table that has a Classification Definition specified on the Applies to tab, but you will only be able to use the Classification Definition to filter AEC objects, like Multi-View Block References.  All instances of Block References (or other non-AEC objects) will appear in the schedule, as there is no way to specify one of the Classifications for Block References.

Why not use dataextraction instead?  Don't try to fit a square peg in a round hole.
