Qty Takeoffs & Cabinet Elevations

Hello,

I am wondering if AutoCad Architecture 2021 has the ability to create a quantity takeoff for items such as light switches, LED lights, ceiling fans, interior doors/sizes, etc. Also, has anyone built a library to provide better cabinet elevations? Or how would someone go about doing that. Thank you!

Welcome to the community!

Use the Schedule feature.  You can create a Schedule Table for the items you mention and that Schedule Table can include a Quantity column.

As for better cabinet elevations, if you use Multi-View Blocks for the cabinets, you can have a view block for the front elevation that shows whatever you would show if you were just drafting the elevation using AutoCAD linework.

Thank you for the input! Do you have a tutorial I can follow for both those features? I have never used a schedule before, and we have some blocks that my company has created, but I am not sure if they are "multi-view".
