Publish to PDF in background Does Not Properly Print my Stamp

So so so very bummed. I have used Autodesk products for 26 years. I stopped upgrading since 2022 version for fear of more broken things with the next upgrade. In 2022, all cad products could not print my AutoCAD drawn stamp with image for signature in my title blocks when using PDF Publish in background. I spent several hours troubleshooting with support, only to end up having to live with this problem for 3 years. I have used background publishing for many years, but due to this shortcoming, I have had to print without background publishing, which is absolutely horrible because I cannot use my computer during printing because AutoCAD steels the focus for every page in foreground. 2025 still has the same problem, 3 versions later. please...please...can Autodesk fix this so it can work as designed.

Anyone have any insight?

I suppose a plan B can be to make an image out of my stamp and insert it into my title block instead of a using drawn lines.  If this is the only workaround, could you recommend a workflow to get very good resolution?  When I have tried, I get a rather pixilated result.

Thanks for sharing your DWG file: its sort of sluggish to navigate inside of it for such a small size DWG file. VisionREZ content heavy: is that an add-on you use all the time?

See attached PDF of all of your layouts (content free), the task took about 10-seconds to complete in the foreground in ACA2023 for me. Other than the missing image for the signature that was not attached

It all looks good to me. How about for you? I see nothing like your PDF output either.

NOTE: Background Publishing just does not work for many and there is no fix, you might as well just forget it ever existed. A popular workaround for those that just cannot function without it: pick up a cheap computer, install the DWGTRUEVIEW free viewer on it, connect them all up together in a home/office network, and use that for your plotting and publishing needs

Crazy, didn't know about vrez garbage. Never use it. Not sure how it made its way into several of my drawings...but I'll look.

No problem with opening drawing on my end rather quickly.

Problem occurs when trying to publish in background to PDF. This worked for me in 2021 version and prior for as long as background publishing was available. Never had any issues. Than, in 2022, the background publishing to PDF wouldn't print my stamp only, and also the content browser complete stunk and would allow me to make zero edits to my company catalog file.

This is an interesting issue I've not run across until I tested your dwg.  We have our stamp in Autocad as well, and use a dynamic block for multiple registrations.  Two things can be done to solve your problem, explode your artext to single characters and vectorize your signature. A few thoughts below regarding each.

arctext:  arctext is great for taking the tedium out of setting text on a curve.  However, some characters will get a little cramped and so we will explode the arctext and manually adjust characters to display in a more appealing way.  (very subjective) If your not going to change the text then exploding arctext would be acceptable.

One way to handle your signature is to convert it in illustrator and then import as vector line work rather than as an image or just trace it in autocad.  I'm not a fan of this method but some people find it acceptable.

We use a signature "stamp" in adobe acrobat and/or foxit that is added after the pdf has been created. The signature should be scanned at 400-600 dpi and enhanced if needed in a photo editor. We rarely enhance inked signatures.

Thanks for looking. I had thought of what you said. However, when I went to explode the bottom text, it exploded upside down and backwards.  And the text would not mirror or flip properly.  Weirdest thing I've ever experienced.

I thought of simply using a PDF as a secondary stamp with decent enough resolution. Not my favorite, but it works.
