Lines over lines

Not applicable
  1. When I draw a line or place a block over another line with the thickness higher than the one on the top, the line appears on the plot somehow, even when I use wipeout to cover that line. Is there any configurations to make the line under other lines invisible? Thanks

Do you by chance have LINEMERGE turned on in your PC3 file that you plot to? It's doing what you ask if yes.

An illustration or demonstration file might help illustrate what isn't working.

Also, try to be specific in your use of AutoCAD specific terminology. THICKNESS relates to the height of a virtual plane of the line when viewed in 3d. It is used along with ELEV.  THICKNESS has nothing to do with lineweight.

If you mean LINEWEIGHT, then use that term. If you mean width of a polyline, use the term WIDTH.

If you're trying to use a block to mask over a line, the mask, when using a wipeout must:

  1. Be wider than the lineweight (at least double or triple the lineweight of the line to be masked).  IOW, it must have some pixels to mask.
  2. The block's draworder must be in front of the masked line.

Since wipeouts don't support transparency, that shouldn't be an issue.
