IFC import is missing objects

Hello and good morning.

I imported an IFC file and been using it for a while now, but I recently discovered that the ACAD architecture import is missing seemingly random components, some of those are important components that I need for clash detection, routing, etc - I discovered the issue when comparing the same imported model in Navisworks. . . 

None of the import options I could see seem to affect this.  Is there a different importer I can use?  Or is there a different way to get the IFC  into autocad architecture without losing too much information? 

I guess this makes it difficult for me to trust Autocad since there were no errors in the import process and not really any way that I could have known that stuff was missing without noticing, it could have led to serious problems down stream.  (Sorry for the rant - just needed to get this off my chest)

No one can really answer your question/query/concern since we do not have access to your IFC source file to offer any guidance or confirmation.

You are right, I did not upload the IFC file - but I think the questions I asked shouldn't require it?

Is there a different importer I can use?  (legacy importer, add-on, etc)

Unfortunately I cannot upload this file - and I suspect you do not want to spend hours importing it. . . so if someone knows of a different way or importer, I am content to try and experiment on my own.   Thanks again,

Never seen any issues with IFC files we have imported, so I'm not sure what else to offer.
