HsbCAD help

Our company recently purchased the hsbcad software (to be used with AutoCAD Architecure) as we are launching our CLT production very soon. However I have been struggling to get a good grasp of the program on my own. The resources on hsbacademy does not seem to go in depth and while I have been constantly emailing the support team, I've been told that my questions were "training questions" and that the next step would be to pay for hourly training sessions.

Apart from the hsbacademy website, there doesn't seem to be a lot online in terms of tutorials. Therefore is it normal that we eventually need to pay in order to be able to use the software that already costs a lot?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community, and thank you for posting your question here in the AutoCAD Architecture forum!

The program hsbCAD is a third party program, not developed by Autodesk, so this might not be the best place to get the answers you're looking for. Although there may be some other ACA users who also use hsbCAD, so I understand why you posted here looking for some guidance.

Does hsbCAD have a forum or community where their users congregate and help each other? (I assume that might be what hsbAcademy is, but I've never used it myself.)

There are some training/tutorial hosts like Lynda, Pluralsight, etc. that might have some classes or materials. These are typically paid services, but often have a free trial period at the beginning. Might be worth checking to see if they offer anything for hsbCAD.
