How do you put the second floor onto the first floor? I have it both in my project and in constructs. How do you put it on the first floor? Im so confused. Every time i do it, there are interlapping walls because it does not go up 10'. (the first floor is 10' tall)

Welcome to the community!

It sounds like you are using the "Project" feature of AutoCAD Architecture (Project Browser/Project Navigator).

The "as designed" workflow is to set up your project with the Levels you need (Project tab of Project Navigator), with the desired elevations.  Then create one or more Constructs for each Level, and model that Level's items in the corresponding Construct(s), with Z=0 in that Construct file representing the Level elevation.

To see two or more Levels in one drawing file, set up a View file in your project, and specify the Levels and Constructs to be included.  The lowest specified Level Construct(s) will be referenced at Z= 0, and higher Level Construct(s) will be placed at the correct Z values to achieve each Level's relative elevation.

Hi @Cohen_1612029 ,

Thank you for your query on the AutoCAD Architecture forum.

As outlined by David, the intended workflow of setting up project workflows will be via the Project Navigator > Projects tab. Please find more details from the help documentation found below.

Using Levels in AutoCAD Architecture or MEP:

If you still face difficulties, feel free to give us more context (photos, drawing files, annotations) of what you wish to achieve.

Best regards,

Yanhan
