I've been trying to intersect two gable roof in AutoCAD Architecture 2023 without success. Does anyone knows how to do that, by the way, we call "California Roof" to that kind of roof setting, just in case; any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you
Hi and Welcome,
Was the link from @Gepaha helpful? I've attached a dwg file that has a few other methods that might be useful as well. Below is a list of edits in the attached dwg.
All of these can then be extracted into a horizontal section and or elevations and sections.
Thanks a lot, I haven't had a chance to work back on the roof I wanted to intersect; I have to go through your blog and your videos; you got a lot of helpful information.
Thanks again!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to create the CAD file, its very helpful, I might need to learn a little more about the "roof objects".
On the other hand , I haven't had a chance to work back on the roof I wanted to intersect; I think I will have to go through "@gphanauer" blog and some of his videos; looks like he got a lot of helpful information.
Thanks again!
