How to copy certain objects in AutoCAD Architecture

Capture.JPGif i want to copy the objects, only in blue rectangle, what should i do?

put first corner of selection frame on the left and pull it to te right

Some of the objects in the box also extend outside the box. So if you use a blue selection window you won't copy any of the items that aren't fully inside the window. If you use a green crossing selection it will copy the objects that fall even partially in the selection box. What I would do is draw a rectangle around the area you want to copy. Then use the green crossing window selection to select everything in the rectangle and also select the rectangle. Copy that stuff. After you place it you can trim everything outside the rectangle with the trim command and then delete your extra rectangle.

XREF this original content file into a NEW file, then use XCLIP to clip out and keep only the view you want to use for your drafting task: that way the original stays intact and you are not needlessly creating duplicates that someone in the future will need to reconcile.
