HATCH ERRORS

AutoCAD Architecture 2017.

I just started having a problem with hatching giving me the following error.

"Could not evaluate hatch boundaries at all supported scales"

I use annotative text and have never had this error before until today.  This error happens when an mleader leader crosses the hatch. It only happens when  the hatch is set to associative. I am not aware of changing any settings. Can you just not use associative hatch with annotative mleaders? is this new?

Any reason you cannot quickly hide the mleader (or turn off the layer), hatch, then bring it back? Then just turn on background masking for your mleader if needed.

Could you provide a sample file for testing, and/or a Screencast that illustrates the issue as it occurs?
