Gradient hatch does not plot

I'm having problems plotting gradient hatch, it shows up as a solid color (see attatchments). I saw an earlier thread about changing the raster image quality in the plotter configuration, but this did not change anything for me. 

Hope you can help me finding a solution to this.

See the attatchments for the plot settings as I have them now. 

I followed some of the steps from the link you sent, I tried HPMAXLINES = 1000000 and the FILLMODE was already at 1. I have checked that my drawing is next to the origin 0,0,0. I also tried changing up the hatch scale, so far nothing has changed. 

I'll see if I can download a newer version of AutoCAD, the one I have installed now is from 2019.

Just needed a good, old update to fix it!
