When you go to PLOT the dialogue shows up with the name of the drawing twice & with a (1) after it. Is there a setting that will only plot the file name once? Or do we just edit the file name for every drawing?
In PUBLISH, the single file name is accomplished by unchecking a setting (prefix sheet title with file name).
See attached/below for what others are seeing with PLOT

My screenshot is from the PLOT command when it asks you to name your drawing. We don't have 3rd party drivers.
I use PUBLISH, which you can set the sheet names to be the name of the pdf, if you publish single sheets.
I'm asking about the default naming. Some employees don't use the publish, which I do, and am looking for easy ways to PLOT single sheets without having to rename/edit the name the files each time.
If there isn't a setting for that, then that's an answer. But I recall the single sheet plotting would not have a double name or the () in the name. Granted that may have been many many versions ago. I wouldn't even know what key words to use to find a LISP to name the single sheet plot the name of the sheet, or if my company would even accept something like that to be used.

That's your 3rd party PDF driver's pop-up, that's not a function of AutoCAD/ARCH. it was triggered from PLOT command, but it is not a native AutoCAD/ARCH feature or ability. HTH

Sadly that's never has been an OOTB ability or feature in any year version unless you implemented a customized LISP or used a third party add-on. But the latter is the solution(s), lots of those out there you can use (with modifications of course).
Could you expand your image for plotting. I am using aca 2023 so my view may be different.
AHH I see what you are saying now. I'm wondering if it's Bluebeam that is creating this setting (3rd party). I've been using the 'plot to PDF' for so long that I never considered the interaction between the two programs.
Well! Time to head over to BB for answers.
