Error Messages - Ribbon

I opened up my cad today and there are not tabs or panels in my ribbon. The message says " The Ribbon does not have any tabs and panels currently loaded." What does this mean and how do I get my tabs and panels back?

I already went into CUILOAD to try to fix it, that did not work. I closed out the drawing and opened it back up that did not fix the problem. It was working fine yesterday I don't know what could have happened...

Type RIBBON on the command line and see if that loads it.

Do you have another Workspace defined to which you could switch, to see if that brings back the Ribbon?  I have even seen situations like yours, where the Workspace tool on the Application Status Bar shows only the Gear icon, even though we have it set to display the Workspace name, and after selecting a Workspace, the name displays and the ribbon returns.

If that does not work, can you go to the Options dialog, Profiles tab and set a different profile current?  That may work, also.  Verify that the correct CUIX file is set in the Options dialog, Files tab, Customization Files node, Main Customization sub-node.

Otherwise, your CUIX file may have become corrupt.  You could try editing it and manually add the ribbon tabs back to your active Workspace.  If you have not done much (any) customization of the main CUIX file, you could also right click on it in the upper left pane of the Customize tab of the Customize User Interface dialog, and choose to restore or reset the CUIX file.  Restore will bring back the backup file made the last time the CUIX file was edited.  Reset will set it back to the original installation state (only available for customization files found in the UserDataCache folder in the AutoCAD Architecture installation location).
