Element Transperancy in Xref not consistant.

Hello,  ACA 2017. I have a Floor Plan file that I have Xreffed into my Floor Framing Plan. In the Floor Framing Plan I set the appropriate Xref layers to 80 Transparency. It has shown and plotted fine fine through out plan checks and approval. Now I am making as-built/contractor alterations. The problem is altered/copied Xref elements are not showing transparency in the Framing Plan. Even though I literally copied elements in the Floor Plan, some walls and some polylines, so layers and style are exactly the same. I've tried detaching and reattaching the Floor Plan, Match Props on the elements in the Floor Plan, Audit/Purge/Regenall, nothing seems to work. any ideas?

Thanks.

Could the default Transparency in the Floor Plan file have been changed from ByLayer to a fixed number.  I just tried that here in some test files - with no objects selected, I changed the drawing default Transparency from ByLayer to 0 on the Properties palette.  When I copied two lines that were already in the file, and that had a ByLayer Transparency, the copies had the new default value of 0.

In a separate file that had previously had the first file externally referenced and the externally dependent layers set to a Transparency of 80, when I reloaded the external reference, the copied lines showed with 0 Transparency.

That was the issue with the polylines, thanks!

I'm not even sure where the wall transparency is in the Properties palette. I guess I'd have to go into the Wall Styles? Can the system do that, change transparency in a Wall Style and have the same styles display differently?

Its not on the Properties palette for Walls.  For the overall Wall object properties, you need to select the Wall (or Walls), right click and choose Edit Object Display from the context menu.  In the Object Display dialog, choose the General Properties tab.  (If you select multiple Walls, that will be the only tab offered.  If you select just one Wall, there will also be Materials and Display Properties tabs, where you can provide an object override for Materials or Display Properties.)

I did a test similar to the one I did before, including some Walls this time, and the same thing happened - the copied Walls picked up the current default Transparency value, not the Transparency value of the Walls that were copied.
