Edit Ceiling Grid

Having issues with the add hole option; was able to succeed in one, but not sure what I did, see attached.

These are the commands I used.

Create PLINE on grid,

Select Grid,

Select Add Hole,

Select Grid,

Select PLINE

Press Enter, 

Am I missing anything?

If you select the Ceiling Grid, and then select the Add Hole tool on the Ceiling Grid contextual ribbon tab, you do not need to select the Ceiling Grid again.  Even if you were to start the CEILINGGRIDCLIP command first, you would select the Ceiling Grid before choosing Add Hole.
