Door Scheduling

We want to standardize our door numbering so for example the front door is always 1, a 20 door is always 10 etc. I have created a door style for each size door and preset the door "Mark" to what we want the standard to be. But when i insert the door into a drawing the mark is 0. The PSD for the mark is set to integer. What am i missing in the setup?

Is the Mark Property part of a style-based Property Set?  If it is, then you could set a value for each Door Style and have it stick.  If it is in an object-based Property Set, then even if that set is attached to an instance in a source file, it will not carry through when placing a Door via a tool palette tool.  (I believe the same is true when using the Styles Browser, but have not tested that theory.)

If you always want a Door of a given Door Style to have the same Mark, place the Mark Property in a style-based Property Set.
