cant find design section for walls

I have AutoCAD architecture 2022 student version but I cant find any wall build tool nor any design tool related to walls. How should I build walls (without ofcourse using manual lines as in AutoCAD). The software screenshot is as follows: (one is of tools pallete which also does not have any walls section and other is of home tab which again is missing walls design tool)

your screenshot shows you are only running plain AutoCAD with the free samples catalogue
NOT AutoCADARCHITECTURE version
which is a different program that requires a separate software installation from plain AutoCAD.

Or you are running ARCH "as autocad": the PROFILES tab in OPTIONS command will confirm the latter.

I get it. But how do I run autocad architecture.

I followed the following procedure to install autocad architecture.

  1. I downloaded autocad 2022 from online link at autocad
  2. Then when it got installed, I opened auto desk aap manager and from the options there choose auotdesk architecture. It took some time and got installed.

Now is my autocad architecture installed correctly and if yes how should I run auotdesk architecture please?

You should be asking your teacher.  I might suggest that you reinstall though.  Don't use the migration tool.  Never migrate the CUI.

I have this if I use your GLOBAL profile, and I never migrate from anything with new installations, that's just asking for trouble for some users who don't know or understand what is happening

Otherwise.... your installation may be incomplete, you are missing a lot of content and extra profiles: your "migration" may be killing it all as well.

Remove and reinstall ALL Autodesk software on your computer like this if your teacher cannot help you resolve it https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/download-install/remove-products/remove-windows-prod...

it looks like I'm also having the same problem. I have downloaded the 2023 version but I didn't find the wall tool in the tool palettes...   Screenshot (4).png

Your screenshot shows you are running "plain" AutoCAD, not AutoCAD Architecture.  As @pendean noted, that is a separate installation.

The Software updated itself from 2023 where the AEC tools were there fine and anow I need the tools and am in Architecture 2024 and it is running in 2024 Autocad apparently and I dont have access to the AEC tools. Although it says How do I fix this VERY annoying autocad!

Does it say "AutoCAD Architecture" in the main window title bar (unlike the image that Dukeshant.20 posted)?  If so, then open the Options dialog and go to the Profiles tab.  Look at the upper left corner of the Options dialog:  what profile do you have current?  If it just says "AutoCAD" and you have profiles that include "AutoCAD Architecture" in them, set an "AutoCAD Architecture" profile current.  Are the AEC tools now available?
