Hi,

the link you show points to AutoCAD Architecture, the forum here is about AutoCAD (without "Architecture").

If you use Vanilla AutoCAD you can't find functions from AutoCAD Architecture.

To find out which product you have you can start command _ABOUT, there you'll can see the exact product name.

Make sure that you are using one of the Architecture profiles and then turn on the tool palettes and follow the referenced instructions.  If you don't see a home tab with walls on it, you're either not using AutoCAD Architecture or you're not using the right profile.

You will need to purchase an all new AutoCAD2019 subscription at the current price noted HERE at Autodesk, then you can access ToolSets from your accounts page, find and install the Architecture Set as described HERE, to get the tools you want.

A match line is just a thick, phantom linetype line (or polyline) with labels on each side.  It should be a piece of cake to create a dynamic block to do the same thing.  No need to feel like you're missing out.

I'm just checking in to see if you need more help with this. Did any of the suggestions that @dbroad@pendean@cadffm and @Alfred.NESWADBA provided work for you?

If so, please click Accept as Solution on the posts that helped you so others in the community can find them easily.
