To achieve a panel layout like that you could use a curtain wall. The framing in the back would not really be needed unless you want it for layout or some other reason but could still be a part of the curtain wall.

I am working with a pre-engineered metal building using kingspan panels for the exterior finish and used a wall style that represented the thickness of the panel.  I did it this way as I had several types of windows and it's just easier for me to work with walls. I could've made a solid for the reveal, arrayed it around the structure and converted the whole group into a mass and then used that as a body modifer if I wanted the detail but I chose to hatch my elevations instead. The metal frame came in as an ifc file showing all of the metal girts and columns which allowed me to cross check the metal building for fit and layout.

Hi and Thanks Your reply!

So if I want make that background frame I can do that with Curtain Wall?

I want to compare software to see how such a wall structure could be done. 😊

Yes, the curtain wall will layout both horizontal and vertical members and they may be offset from each other. You can also define multiple panel types based on styles with the use of blocks as replacements. An override can be applied to any panel as well.
