If you are installing from your Autodesk Account page, using the "Install Now" or "Browser Download" methods, you may find that the installation runs better if you use the Virtual Agent to download all of the installation files first, and then run the installation from the downloaded files, rather than downloading the installation files at the same time as the installation is proceeding.
Since you have already had one or more failed installations, the first step will be to do a clean uninstallation, so that there is no interference from any files left behind by the previous attempts. If you have the Autodesk uninstall tool available (Start > All Programs > Autodesk, then scroll to see if you got far enough in the installation to have the uninstall tool).
