Autocad Problem - linetype not showing on the hatch and normal lines

Hello everyone,

I have many drawings in many different files, and hatches and linetypes don't work on any of them. Every time I try to do a hatch it only comes out as straight lines and squares, and every time I do a line it doesn't come out on the assigned line type. I've researched for a few hours and I've tried so many different methods (Ltscale, msltscale etc.) and none of them work.

Does anybody have an idea of what's going on?

Welcome to the community!

Reply to this thread through your web browser, and attach an example DWG file that has lines and hatches that are not displaying the way you want.  Clearly indicate which ones we should look at, and explain how you expect them to look.  Someone can then take a look at your file and try to sort out what the problem is.

As you can see in the image below, I generally do not have a problem displaying linetypes on lines or hatch.  Keep in mind that each line segment in the hatch has to be long enough to show at least one instance of the hatch pattern.  So my attempt to display the GAS linetype in the Hexagon pattern on the right side failed, because none of the segments were long enough to show at least one instance of the pattern.
