Autocad on Surface pro 4

I recently purchased my surface pro 4 and ACAD 2017 is running smoothly.

There is one problem, the text and Icons are all reasonable yet only the text for the command box and option are showing quite big.

Check attached screen capture.

Any way to modify the text to ensure a better fit ?

You can go Control Panel ----> Display ----> Set custom text size and then make text size 100%

Thank you for your reply.

But the problem that all the text in windows will be reduced thus making it very small to read. Any solution for the text only in the screen capture ?

AutoCAD? This is the AUTOCAD ARCHITECTURE software forum, the software that is not plain AutoCAD, this forum is not for your line of work and not about your day job or qualifications 🙂

If you use AutoCAD2017, go grab the 2017.1.1 update (notice the "point one point one" in the name) from your active subscription-only updates page https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates

Note: It doesn't solve all the problems, just many of them. A better fix will probably show up in AutoCAD2018 next year of AutoCAD2019 the year after that.

PS: the 2017.1.1 update is not available to EDU licenses. if that's all you have, then you need to run your display at 1920x1080 (also try 2560x1440 and up to 2560x1600 if you have that option) and at 100% text scaling (no more than 125% text scaling).
