Hi everyone,

I installed AutoCAD Architecture 2018 today and got " Product license information" from autodesk email:

@wjxu55 VStudley removed this image because it contained your serial number.

I activated many times using attached product key (185J1), always got error. Anybody know what is happen? Please help me to fix the problem.

Thanks!

Willie

Assuming your license is just for AutoCAD Architecture, and not for a suite, the Product Key you entered is for the 2017 version.  The 2018 product key is 185J1.  A full list of the 2018 product keys can be found in this Autodesk Knowledge Network article.

Thank you reply quickly!

Your product key is correct. but serial number is still wrong. I can't find it on the same website. Could tell me where I can find it?

I confuse why autodesk gave me email with wrong serial number & product key? My Autodesk Architecture 2018 is student free 3-year version.

Thanks again!

I cannot explain the contents of your email, unless the information given was for the 2017 version.  Each release will have its own serial number.

I am also not familiar with exactly how the student licensing works.  You may find better information on the Autodesk Student Communnity site.  As a commercial license user, if I want to see a serial number, I log into the Autodesk Account site and go to the Management page > PRODUCTS & SERVICES > All Products & Services and then, on the right side of the page, find the product of interest and expand it.  Perhaps the student licenses work in a similar fashion?  If not, check on the Student Community site for information on how to check your serial number.
