AutoCAD Architecture 2018 Crashes when using Plot Command

I am trying to plot my drawing and AutoCAD 2018 crashes.  I type in PLOT or click on the Print icon and crashes every time.  Tells me that I will be notified by Windows when there is a solution.  I read a solution that says to Purge the drawing but that did not fix the issue.

Does this happen in ALL files, or just this one?
Does this happen with all printers/plotters/PDF drivers you have, or just one device?

Or is ACA2018 a fresh new install today?

I ran the Major Geeks C++ program and that didn't fix it.  I am running Windows 10 so .NET doesn't work for me.

I have installed HP Universal Drivers and that does not fix the issue.

So the crash ONLY happens with HP drivers, no other printer or pdf or dwf driver?

I don’t know. It happens when I type “PLOT” or click on Print button on toolbar

I have already done all three of those forum pages.

It did just crash again when I switched from Model to Layout.

More like, what changed since last week???  I moved my office 3 miles north and installed an HP 7740 printer.  Everything was working great up until then.  I have ACA 2018 on my laptop and it "PRINT/PLOT" just fine!

Is it possible to get a phone call so I don't have to wait 30-60 minutes between responses?  This is really making me more and more upset that I can't get your product working right.

I'm an end user just like you, no one in these forums is "autodesk". These forums are peer-support. If you want "autodesk" log into your accounts page, tap the help at the top and schedule something with them.

In the HP 7740 printer.new with the move, since last week?
Windows will tell you what else changed in the last week, did you look? Here is how http://www.sysprobs.com/how-to-view-installed-updates-on-windows-10-8-1-server-2012

If your laptop works fine, it's unique to the desktop. see what updates it did NOT get (or got) and compare to your desktop.

That makes since now... I scheduled a contact, but Autodesk said they can't schedule me till Friday morning.  Try tell that to home builders that need their house plans yesterday!!

I compared and it's apples to apples.

Free always has a price.

Q: are both the laptop and desktop running the same version of Windows?
Q2: on the desktop, is the driver installed on the PC or on a "server" you might have and use?
Q3: where did you get the driver for the HP printer?

Problem Solved!  There was an issue with Foxit Phantom PDF Writer and AutoCAD 2018.  They were not seeing eye to eye!
