AutoCAD Architecture 2016 - Dimensions in 3D

First of I must say, that I'm german and my english isn't that great in term of CAD and architectural terms, but I hope you still understand my Problem.

I drew a structure of coulumns and beams. Now I want to put down the dimensions, but I want the layout to be isometric and I don't know where I can change the dimensionchains to appear in the 3D representation at the Z coordinates of the beams.

Your English is better than my German.  Are you trying to do something like what is shown in the image below?  Pardon the imperial units.

The 20'-0" dimension was placed with the UCS set to World.  The 10"-0" dimension was placed after changing the UCS to the Left orthographic UCS (built into the program) and then using the Origin option of the UCS command to move the origin point to the column grid intersection at the base of the column being dimensioned.  That establishes the XY plane along the column line, and allows for the placement of a dimension as shown.

What I needed was to place the 20'-0" Dimension at the top end of the columns, and placing the UCS their worked with the Default dimensionchain but not for the "AEC"-dimensionchain.
