Auto numbering on already placed objects

I have 100 objects already placed and i need to give them a numbering order based on a path. i need to give the objects a number so i can tag it with text.

I am not entirely certain what you are trying to do.  The PROPERTYRENUMBERDATA command (on the Annotate ribbon tab, on the Scheduling panel flyout, choose the Renumber Property Sets tool) will allow you to renumber a selected property, starting at a selected integer value and incrementing by the integer amount of your choice (the initial default is 1 for both).  That only works on Manual Integer and Manual Auto Increment - Integer properties, and does require you to select the objects in turn.

If you are looking to "renumber" a Manual Text property, or are looking to draw a polyline that passes through the objects to be renumbered in the order of the renumbering, then you would either have to create or acquire a customization that would allow you to do that.
