Add Comment to Construct

Can I add  comments and notes to my construct version when I check them in and out from the project navigator. It seems like a nice feature but can not seem to fine how to add the notations.

When you check the file back in you have the ability to add a comment.  If you want to add a a comment after the fact you can edit the xml file that is the same name as the dwg and in the same directory.

I do not get the same window pop up at check in time? using ACA 2015

Now that I know that it's not me but a program error can someone at Autodesk Please contact me to correct this issue.

 

I do have ACA2016 installed out of the box and have tried it as well, same results, it does not allow me to add comments at check in time.This has always seemed like a very handy tool that I would like to utilize please advise me on how to fix the problem Autodesk.

Can you check this setting in the Project Properties?  I opened the dialog by going into the project browser and right clicking on the project and selecting properties.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Thank you for posting your question here. Hopefully we can help you enable the comments on your project - it is a handy tool.

 

In the same train of thought as @Keith.Brown, it does seem like the comments feature might be turned off in your project. Could you please verify that they are turned on?

That was it. Not sure why Auto Desk would have it off by default?
