Hi Mario,
If you open the same files in ACA 2015 without any service packs applied, do the XREFs all load properly?
Are there any error messages displayed at the command line after they load when you open the file? (Press F2 to review the history in a separate window.)
- Ex. "It is recommended you open and resave the Xref file to remove excess scales."
When you clean up the XREF drawings, with or without service packs installed:
- Does an AUDIT fix any errors?
- Does -PURGE > RegApps remove any registered applications?
- Does -PURGE > All remove a lot of unreferenced data?
- Are there excessive scales that can be removed from the scale list (SCALELISTEDIT)?
While something in Service Pack 2 could be affecting your XREFs, if there is file corruption or excess data that can be recovered or removed from your drawings, or you are seeing the warning messages when the XREFs originally load when the file is opened, the XREFs need to be cleaned regardless of which service packs you have installed.
I'd like to know if there are no errors or excess content in the files before Service Pack 2 is installed, but some appears after it is installed (as if the service pack is causing errors/corruption in the files). If this is the case, could you zip up and attach a sample set of files where this is occurring?
