2024 version refuses to update views

Hi,

recently AutoCAD refuses to update the drawing views, despite of changes to the drawing. It´s more than a nuisance, if you consider something deleted and then it´s "ghost" somehow remains. Is this documented behavior?

I´d say I´ve only seen this in larger drawings (15 to 25 Mb) but I might be mistaken. Needless to say this makes another review necessary as well as updating all the drawing´s views manually. Update wise it´s the latest version of ACAD Arch 2024.

How do we replicate your issue in our own files please? Be very detailed, step by step when you are ready.

Hello pendean,

oh that´s simple. Just open any drawing that does exceed 15Mb and delete something that is visible in the paper space. If you can reproduce this, the part you deleted will be gone in model space, but still be visible in paper space drawing views.

Thanks to @pendean the issue turned out to be no real issue. Simply choose the option that regenerates the drawing instead of caching it. Here´s the correct setting for drawings that size.
