dwg's into Adobe Photoshop

I need to edit the color of my hatches in a dwg in photoshop, and have had problems with the resolution of the dwg in photoshop. i have plotted as a jpeg and a tiff, but all show up with poor resolution in photoshop. Is there a good way to bring a dwg into Adobe Photoshop without lose of resolution, possibly through Adobe Illustrator?

You could open DWG files in later versions of Illustrator, and then add color or convert to a raster image for photoshop work. What I do is export from AutoCAD to a PDF (using Adobe Distiller that comes with Acrobat) and then open that in Photoshop. It gives a high-resolution image that looks great.
